Read the COME Destination Address Before Download
Check the address in the browser after opening the COME entry. The text on a button and the host that receives your request are different pieces of information.
Read the host in the address bar
Expand the address if the browser shortens it. Identify the domain before the first path slash, and distinguish it from words inside the path or query. A brand word appearing later in an address is not the same as the receiving host.
Notice a changed destination
A link may lead through a page or another destination before presenting options. Inspect the final visible address and current service information before entering personal details or saving software. HTTPS protects transport to that host but does not by itself authenticate every file it offers.
Relate the source to the package
Compare the offered app name, release and Android prompt. If a source or package identity is unexpected, resolve the mismatch first. Preserve the address and a non-sensitive description of the issue; avoid sharing a full link if it contains account or session information.
A useful next step
After reading the destination, use Download to review the current file listing and Android sequence. Keep the source question separate from later account tasks.
